I'm jealous of Racine
Does your town or county have it's own Sports Hall of Fame? Mine doesn't. I wish they did. I'm heading tonight to the Racine County Sports Hall of Fame banquet tonight for their third class of inductees. Our basketball insider Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times was part of getting this Hall of Fame put together just three years ago. When you think of Racine do you really think they should have a Sports Hall of Fame? Probably not.
Check this link out for the list of people that have been inducted the last two years and the class that's being inducted tonight http://www.rcsportshall.org/Pages/hallmembers.aspx
The banquet is held tonight at the Marriott Hotel in Racine with dinner and induction ceremony hosted by Channel 4's Rod Burks...I can't wait to see how the whole event works. Let me just say I wish more town's treated their atheletes like Racine does. How about you?

Bucks Thoughts
The Bucks basketball season is about a week away and the team has yet to win an exhibition game. I can't say I'm shocked by this fact, considering you have 11 new faces on the roster and a few of them have been hurt for a majority of or all of the exhibition season. Now with that being said, you should start seeing some cohesion from the guys who have been healthy throughout camp and to be quite honest I really haven't seen that to this point.

Coming into this season I have said scoring will be an issue this season and to this point of the exhibition season I haven't seen anything to change my mind yet. Defensively you would think this team will improve simply by not having Ellis or Jennings on the roster anymore, however, will Knight and Mayo be enough of an improvement on that side of the floor to compensate for the lack of scoring night in and night out during the season?

While I may seem like I'm not overly excited for the team at this point, you have to understand that when you have a team as young as this, there will certainly be tons of room for improvement throughout the season. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Bucks young players get better throughout the season, not really caring about the win/loss total at the end of the season. I can't wait to get back to doing postgame shows this season and talking with other Bucks fans as the season goes through it's up's and downs.

Sparky talks with the Jersey Boys
As you probably know my favorite play is the Jersey Boys as I’ve seen it four times with the fifth time scheduled to be on Thursday night at the Marcus Center. The play is based on the life and times of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The play itself is like going to a concert as most of your favorite songs are performed for you at some point during the night. You’re hands will get tired from clapping so much, while you’re heart strings are really tugged at during periods of the show. You’ll be able to feel the raw emotion of the characters like you were actually seeing real life play out in front of you.

I had a chance Tuesday morning to talk with the cast from Jersey Boys in town performing at the Marcus Center (http://www.marcuscenter.org/show/jersey-boys/).  Nick Cosgrove plays the role of Frankie Valli, Nicholas Dromard plays Tommy DeVito, Brandon Andrus plays Nick Massi, and Jason Kappus plays the role of Bob Gaudio.
