I''ll get my first taste of March Madness when I head up to the Horizon League Tournament tonight in Green Bay featuring UWM playing in the quarterfinals. Its a shame the outright conference champ does not getting an automatic bid to the NCAA Tourney but the winner of the 3 day conference tourney does. Green Bay's reward for winning the league is that they get to host this weekend. Looking forward to this weekend's basketball bonanza in Green Bay.
Not to mention all the great sectional finals tomorrow in high school hoops.. I think the sectional final, with the pressure of getting to state,is an amazing event.A packed gym,and usually two great teams playing on a neutral court. Tomorrow it is possible to hit two or three sectional finals in one day in the Milwaukee area. .
My weekend will consist of coverting the Horizon League Tournament tonight (Friday)with two games starting at 6pm in Green Bay.. Coming back to cover Marquette vs St John's tomorrow at the BMO Harris Bradley Center at 11am Saturday... Hitting a high school sectional Final at 3pm.. and then heading back to Green Bay for Saturday night's Sectional Final...
hello, after watching the NCAA tournament and seeing little from the big name freshman and that they are supposed to be the top NBA draft prospects.... I saw nothing from them that says the Bucks should pick them. They are young and may have potential but none of them are the best player of their respective teams. I don't understand what the hype is for these freshman. Yes they have potential but they can also turn into no bodies. They only had 1 year of college. This really confuses me, I looked at mock drafts and 9 of the top 10 guys are frosh or soph??????????
PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND
